These leaflets summarise the most reliable research evidence available, and have been extensively peer reviewed by international experts. The Informed Choice leaflets are produced by MIDIRS (the Midwives Information and Resource Service) and the NHS Centre for Reviews and Dissemination. They are supported by the Royal College of Midwives, the Royal College of General Practitioners and the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.
There are currently 21 titles, and each title has two leaflets; one for women and one for health professionals. The titles are listed below. For details on how to purchase the Informed Choice leaflets go to the Informed Choice website. It is not possible to buy the leaflets individually but you can buy a complete set to receive either by post or by email. You may be able to get a copy of some of the leaflets from your midwife.
